General Setup and Equipment Rules
A foosball table usually has 8 rods. Each team controls 4 rods. The rods near the goal are for the goalkeepers and the other rods are for the strikers and midfielders.

Starting the Game
The game usually begins with a coin toss or some other agreed – upon method to decide which team will start with the ball. The ball is placed in the center of the table, and the team that wins the toss gets the first possession.
Gameplay Rules
The objective of the game is to score goals by hitting the ball into the opponent’s goal. Each goal is worth one point.
Players can only use their hands to rotate the rods. They are not allowed to touch the ball with their hands during the game. If a player touches the ball with their hands, it’s usually considered a foul.
When a team has possession of the ball, they try to move it up the table towards the opponent’s goal by rotating the rods in a coordinated manner. The players need to pass the ball between the different foosball men on their rods to make progress.
The opposing team tries to block the ball and gain possession. They can use their rods to intercept passes and shots.
There are no off – sides in foosball. Players can position their foosball men in any way they like to defend or attack.
Fouls
As mentioned earlier, touching the ball with hands is a foul. If a foul occurs, the opposing team usually gets possession of the ball.
Excessive force or rough play, such as slamming the rods too hard that it might damage the table or disrupt the normal flow of the game, can also be considered a foul.
Winning the Game
The game can be played to a certain number of points. For example, the first team to reach 5 or 10 points (depending on the prior agreement) wins the game. Some games are also played with a time limit, and the team with the most goals at the end of the time period wins.
What Are The Techniques Of Foosball Table ?
Standing Posture
